This is a poster for the UK rapper called Tinie Temper, which is premoting the release of his single Frisky.
Framing: The artist is placed in the middle of the landscape poster, which is where people first look to. It is a close up shot of him with a background made though editing on a software like InDesign and Photoshop. The name of the artist and single is in the same font on the top left hand side of the poster with the featuring act just below that in a different font and size (featuring is the smallest font), but they are the same colour to make sure they all stand out to a certain degree against the background. The fots are unique but still readable. There is a strap line like towards the bottom of the poster, which contains information on the date of release and the website to find out more information. Below this there are two logos one i presume is the record label.
Body Language:
Lighting: There isn't as much of a colour scheme there are two main colours which are green, orange and black. The colour green connotes harmony, freshness and symbolizes money which could mean that to make money is one of his goals. The colour orange connotes creativity, determination, and success as the colour is similar to gold. To the human eye, orange is a very hot colour, so it gives the sensation of heat, which imply that he is hot in rap terms which means they h is good lyrically
Airbrush/effects: They have used lots of special effects to make it look like stardust around the artist to make it as if he is glowing which could show him to look more angelic or could suggest being special and out of this world.
Representation of star: The star is wearing glasses which could of been used to make him seem cool, in addition to this he appears to be looking over his shoulder which could show that he is a person of power or obtains power as he may be in high point in his career and above most UK rappers. This idea is supported through the colour of his costume and lasses which is black, a colour that symbolizes power and dominance.
This is another promo poster for the album Kilt 3 for a artist called I am Su.
Shot type: The poster has a mid shot showing the stars costume but cut's off half of his face. By doing this they are stripping the star of their complete identity allowing the audience to imagine who it is or could be and for targeted audiences it allows hem to picture them-self in that position. This idea could be supported by the fact that the photo was at eye level which could suggest that the star is on the same level as the audience which represents I am Su as grounded and humble despite his success, that of which is shown through his gold jewerlly.
Body language:
Despite the star facing towards us, his body language is closed as he has his arms crossed over his chest, this could be a indication of either he is relaxed or that he is hiding something which could be true as he is hiding his identity and this creates mystery for the audience (forcing them to think if he will reveal what he is hiding in the album, which encourages them to purchase the product), which will drag them in.
Costume:
His costume is full demin and a white shirt, he also has gold necklace and bracelet and grills (gold teeth) this makes it easy to identify the advert as a advert for a rap video.
Framing:
The star takes up 2./3 of the poster. His finger is that points to his name which would help people who don't know the artist figure out who the star is I am Su, However the writing is hard to read when you do not know the name of the artist, despite this it is different which makes it more memorable. This is the first thing you would look at when you the writing as it is the biggest font and most "out there". The fact that the name is in top centre of the poster shows its importance or may eve symbolise the artist position.
the rest of the text is in a smaller bolder more eliedgable font where it states that the album is coming soon but does not have a date, below that in a font that is not bold and slightly smaller font they have the features of the album. this is common so I will remember to do this for my promo poster.
Lighting:
The lighting is quite bright which gives a positive vibe to the poster making it easier for people to notice it and be attracted to it.
Airbrush/effects:
The creators gave the poster a filter that makes the image looked creased, which is unique and as it is only on him and not the whole poster which could represent that he is not perfect and like others have imperfects which links to hen I said earlier about his representation as being humble.
Shot type:
This is a close up/mid shot of the star allowing us to see just below his shoulder allowing you to see some of his costume and the logo on his hoodie. This shot was taken at a slightly tilted up this could represent him being above other rappers. The star is making direct eye contact with the lenses connecting with the audience.
Body language: His body language is open as he stands at a angle, suggesting positive thought and feelings towards the audience making them feel welcome to come and look at the poster.

Framing:
The artist is not cantered in the poster but is paced to the left hand side of the poster to make space for the information which is presented in a listing starting with the artist name in pink and a unique font which shows he is the most important part of information or representing the height of his position in the rap industry. There are only two fonts used on this poster as well as showing the platforms the albums are on which are Spotify and Itunes, therefor even people who can not read well can identify the meaning of the poster.
Lighting:
There is a three colour colour scheme which is black, white and pink. This is unusual colour to use in a rap advert as rap is a genre which is male dominated and so it considered masculine/ Alpha Male and society labelled the colour pink a "girl" colour which is deemed feminine, this contradicts the genre of rap. They could have of done this to attracts a new type of audience that are female or just more feminine people as the monotone colours make the pink stand out which would attract these types of people attention. Furthermore they could have of done this to make it unique as unique things stand out and are more memorial, meaning they will remember the artist has a new album that has been released. Or this could just be sending a message to the masculine males that it is okay to have feminine elements e.g crying is seen as weak etc.
There is a spot light shinning on the centre of the artist face, neck and chest. the fact his face is lit is to draw attention to it his face. the black drop is black so you can not see the shape of the artist, this makes it hard t distinguish the artist from the background as there is no line, this could be symbolic connoting that he is still growing as a person and there are no limits.
